The Not-So-Terrible Two’s.

7th August 2016

This week at Omni Recruit we celebrated our 2nd year anniversary and it’s great to see how far we’ve come in such a short space of time, and exciting to think what the next year holds.

The first few months, and even the first year was about retaining the clients and candidates who showed incredible loyalty and trust to sign up to Omni Recruit after Bluestone Recruitment closed its doors in August 2014. I’ve already documented the hard work that went into this sudden transition by foundation staff members Lindsay Ong, Stephanie Taylor and Robyn Dyhr and I also need to acknowledge the contribution and dedication of Natalia Florczyk and Renee O’Sullivan since joining the team.

This second year has been all about adding to our client base, expanding our service offerings and recruiting new candidates as Omni Recruit ambassadors. One of the best feelings is having clients referred to us via word of mouth, and being able to rely on our clients for a testimonial or as a referee when securing new business.

This year also saw Omni Recruit form a strategic partnership with trusted recruitment partners in other States to secure a 3 year national agreement with a leading pharmaceutical company. This strategic partnership has allowed Omni Recruit to establish operations in Townsville and Darwin and is the blueprint for what we believe is a viable alternative to a National sole supplier agreement (more on this in another post).

On a personal front we’ve also had 2 babies welcomed home by Steph and Lindsay, and with the flexible work arrangements and potential for new babies among the team it might be wise to turn one of the offices into a full time crèche (but for now we’ve got puppies in the office so it’s hard to keep the team focussed some days).

Thanks

Darren.
